"Who am I, and why does this feel so right, yet so wrong?"

Those are the questions I’ve been working through for decades. I’ve found that the community surrounding queer identities is vibrant and global, yet often fragmented and dispersed.

I write to build the map I wish existed when I first felt that pull. I explore that map in both my fiction and nonfiction.

My Mission

My nonfiction explores the real-world experiences and wisdom of the community. I'm driven by the question: Where do we fit in history and culture?

In my fiction, I delve deeper into the emotional stories of ordinary people who cross extraordinary lines. My stories explore the quiet revolutions that happen in our own beds and in our own hearts.

A Note on Process & Privacy

Because I value the privacy of my family, I write under a pen name. And I use the tools available to me, including AI, to help structure my work. This allows me to focus my energy on the deep mechanics of surrender and intimacy that an AI can mimic, but never truly feel.

Walt Whitman wrote: “Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)”
